I do hope this doesn't turn into a gang warfare wherein one group blindly attempts to drive another group off the boards.

Seeing as messageboards profit from having as many members as possible, those who profess to love the Garden should attempt to help it by keeping new members here as long as possible.

Thanxx for the compliment, Koan, but I don't believe I have the authority or the sway power to drive these good people off their own board.

That's great! I'd be a cherholder! :)

You're a sweetheart and a lovely lady! :-4

And obviously Elouise thinks so too, to suggest such a nice title.

It's a shame she's been so poisoned on her own forum that she's only learnt to spit vitriol and is suffering from a chronic case of verbal diarrhoea.

But she obviously likes it here because she's desperately clinging on here and trying to show she has a nice fluffy girly side, she just doesn't know how to express herself in mannerly language and so reverts to the uneducated slang of the gutter.

Feel sorry for her - she's trying!

Albeit VERY trying! :p :wah:

Wasn't there a thread in which you said you'd be allowed to join the Freemasons, Koan? I seem to remember your argument being along the lines of 'although women aren't allowed to join, you consider yourself more of a man than a woman', and you were pretty certain of your acceptance into their community.

I have an impression - though my dictionary is offline at the moment - that the monosyllable is far older than the rhythmic tongue movement, but I'll definitely check when I can. I'm certain that the monosyllable was heard whenever a Celt met a Dane around 800AD near Norfolk, perhaps Pinky knows these things at first hand. She's not called Pinky for nothing, you know.

Nice Angel Sig, btw...Our Rapunzel's not often stroppy (English word, excuse me) but every now and then her maggot bites and she hauls away at anyone. We met in London a while back and saw an elephant, that seems to have excused me from assault ever since but I'll happily watch. Just bear in mind that there's nobody present that I don't actively like, OK? These are friends, they're not out for blood, they've no reason to be.
