What would you do?

Thanks for all the advice ...still not certain what to do but the ear and responces were all very helpful since sometimes I think everyone I know in real life is too close to one of us to be objective with their advice.

What would you do?

<t>I agree with you on the alcoholism. My father in law has been very frank in the past about his failings he's been in AA for about 20 years and my wife's whole family seems to have a tendency to alcohol problems. Whenever I have suggested counseling for it (or joint marriage counseling) she always...

<t>MInks, I think she would be fine with that in the past she has talked about wanting a more open relationship. I however am not down with that. She gets her ire up about many questions because she doesn't want to admit that she is not in control of her actions sometimes because of alcohol. She doe...

What would you do?

<t>I did ask her if why she had the phone number what she planned on doing with it it was within the realm of plausibility that she was getting it to pass it on, but if she is leaving work to see the guy and hiding it to me she's already sneaking around. I was going to confront her about the date af...

<t>Flopstock I am inclined to go with your way however I don't want to be her jailer and live in a state of hmmm is she playing soccer tonight or out with this dude. I can't live that way I don't think. She has "I think" been generally very truthful in the past. We have some problems now but I think...

<t>The time is during the day....she has more freedom some days at work than I do...its not the playing a sport with another guy that bothers me its the falsehood of setting it up then when I gave her the chance to say yeah met a new friend playing raquetball with him she gave the impression without...

What would you do?

<t>Hey all I know I am still fairly new hear, but was seeking some advice from people not familiar with the situation. Last Saturday my wife went to one of her soccer friends Bday parties bowling at 9pm. Said she was just going out for a little while but ended up staying out until 3 am. Well she has...

About damn time!

<t>Isn't this the book thats so long they are splittling it into two parts? Martin is a great writer but he takes so damn long to finish a book you have to reread the whole series to remember whats going on. Kinda like the new Jordan book been reading the series for so long I am obligated to continu...

How much do you owe your kids?

<t>First of all sorry about the bad tone of my previous post was in an extremely foul mood yesterday and it showed through and I'll try to answer most of the comments questions and I hope I attribute them correctly and in no particular order. <br/> <br/> Flopstock....I don't want her to stand up for...

How much do you owe your kids?

<r>This is kinda a rant I guess, but how much do you owe your children before you can simply ship em off to boarding school or something. Last night I am fixing the furnace, doing it myself instead of hiring a repairman, since we have no spare cash although plenty of money for my wife to go out to l...

Setting the clocks back

<t>On click and clack today they had a great idea called "daily savings time" the gist of it being every day at 3:30 clocks would move ahead an hour since no one is really productive in the last hour of work anyway, and at 4:30 am the clocks would roll back so as to give everyone an extra hour of sl...

One of the reasons I am going to hell.

<t>Well the song was going well as we danced around singing to the hamster dance but my daughter, who has been kinda down with a lil virus, hit a grand finale by throwing up on her mother this rainbow looking concoction of a little something called superneopolitan delight ice cream. This put a littl...

One of the reasons I am going to hell.

:wah: My kids and I were just watching Catdog and we are practicing a new rhyme for when my wife gets home...."trick or treat, smell my butt; shovel some sugar in my gut." I am sure she's gonna like our new song.

air force coach's comments racist?

<t>Color per se isn't really all that important, I was struck by the passion people had on the radio program for simply rewording a statement so it felt better for them to talk about it. Saying air force needs to recruit more athletic players was the big favorite. The people who were most upset didn...

air force coach's comments racist?

But you can also look at the facts as well whether its motivation or something

else there are no white cornerbacks in the NFL....and I can't think of any white tailbacks the positions that rely on speed and athleticism the most. Is there no reason for this?

<t>Well I guess the part I don't like is how the FBI seems to be deliberately vague on whether or not they are going to have immediate root access to the machines. Also where they say the tuition cost is likely to go up 450 dollars per student I read that as per semester. If it is only one time I gu...

<r>For god's sakes everyone, we in America need to step up and put a stop to the freakin' office of homeland security and the patriot act. We are starting to resemble an Orwellian land. We have the endless conflict going on versus an udefinable enemy and although the government already has huge powe...

Beware of sugar substitutes

<t>I think the whole point of splenda is that it doesn't resemble sugar. To be calorie free Splenda has to be made from a substance you can't metabolize. I have used Splenda and one of the nice benefits of it is you can heat it without it becoming unbearably bitter. Many of the sugar substitute stud...
