Fly Swatting

Today is one of those balmy, slighty humid days that seems to have brought out an unusually large number of flies. My golf game was cancelled out and I was going to watch NASCAR on Cable but decided that I would go on a FLY HUNT instead. Actually, I didn't have to hunt for them as they sought me out instead. I armed myself with a swatter in the right and left hand. Thus far, in 3 hours and 26 minutes, I have killed 423 flies. I have killed 63% with my right hand and 35% with the left hand. If you are wondering about the other 2%, two flew into my mouth and I swallowed them accidently, and the remainder I caught barehanded. I was thinking, maybe they could make a SPORT out of this. Why not? I mean, there's Big Game Fishing, why not Big Fly Squashing. For a real challenge, try swatting them with a pencil, that takes real skill pardner. Well, Im off to take a shower (I think that's why I drew so many flies), but I would like to know if anyone has broken my 3 hour 26 minute record.

bring on the flies, i am tired of winter. another northeaster storm, what a blizzard outside right now! New England where the storms don't stop this year.

Compare with how many Mediterranean fruit flies could you swat in that time?
