Shoulder of lamb slow roasted all day in the crock pot with mushrooms and shallots and minty lamb gravy, served with roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, petit pois and baby carrots and a yorkshire pudding...Im stuffed:p

Last night it was diced chicken chunks seasoned with ginger and paprika, sauteed with red peppers, yellow peppers, carrots, sugar snap peas and pineapple chunks in a sweet and sour glaze served over white rice.

Tonight I am thinking maybe Chili and grilled cheese?????? We'll see.

will Bar B Q today. Pork chops and chicken thighs. corn on the cob and potatos with bacon. ( all done on the pit.) Plus a green salad.

Made a beef chilli but fancied home made Chips.....so had Egg and Chips....good old British dish:D

Oh, that sounds delish Carol....I lovvvvveeeeee eggs and homemade chips. I plan to cook up a storm this weekend and freeze all for 2 weeks so I don't have to cook.

The closest time I got to frogs legs is when my friend and I went for dinner in a posh place. He ordered frogs legs, and when they arrived we played with them and made them dance an Irish gig......



People around us were disgusted with our bad behavior:wah:

Ostrich gonads with shallots & Creme de Menthe, glazed carrots Marou, baby potatoes Constantine, papaya sorbet, pita bread, bottle of Mirasou Chennin Blanc.

that is one thing i have discovered in Cajun cooking. cook with what you have. with a good roux it turns out pretty tasty.:)

Tonight's dinner will be squirrel kidneys with sauce a la poufet, asparagus voltaire, shitake mushrooms and a bottle of Swartz Bros. pinot noir with french bread.

I made a breakfast casserole with eggs, italian cheeses, vegetarian sausage and O'Brien spuds. Not too bad.

hubby's gumbo came out good. will never undstand this. with gumbo cajuns have potato salad and french bread. I have asked why potato salad?? No one can explain to me why. Or how it started.
