Roast Chicken....roast homemade roast pots with roast onions and parsnips.....cauli.....cabbage and marrowfat peas:D

Yes the house smelled great kids came over for dinner and just left now it is time for more wine. ;) KFC is good I like it every now and then.

Too busy this week to cook. So, I went to a new, fabulous Italian gourmet deli in town called Toscano and ordered...................... (and will freeze many tems). :wah I shouldn't have to cook for at least 3 weeks:wah:

**** pasta e fagioli soup

**** 4 gourmet panin sandwiches....breaded chicken, mozzarella cheese, sundried tomatoes & homemade pesto sauce.

**** already prepared chicken francais and chicken marsala

**** crab stuffed, spicy shrimp

**** potato croquettes

****cheese lasagna rollantino

**** brownies and mni pastry

Hurry up over to the beach for some grub....I just opened a bottle of pino noir:-4

Kathy, I'm on my way and fortunately my hubby knows where your little beach town is:) Expect at least 6 of us.

If you have a Giant supermarket near you, they are having a Phillips crab meat sale, buy one get one free. And the recipe is right on the package. Great, do come down and I couldn't find any eclairs.........:)

I did make fish fillets, but my french fries were homemade with cheddar cheese & bacon pieces! Let's just say, I have 2 fillets left over, but no fries!!

Frozen, the only thing that comes out of cans are tomato products, winter only:) and of course Tuna.

Yes, I hate canned peas, myself. They're mushy & taste like the can! I like canned green beans though. And corn & sourkraut.

Yeah, nothing better than getting your fruit & produce from a roadside stand!! Lancaster County has a lot of them!

When we go down to the shore, we always stop at a place called Bertuzzi's and they have a huge farm. Also, they sell this pie to die for called Apple Walnut Caramel pie. My husband goes back & forth, and when he's coming back he always stops there and gets all sorts of goodies.

That's funny... my one co-worker came back from lunch with an apple walnut caramel pie the other day! Just sounds nauseating to me... I'm not big on sweets.

I gather you did not try it? It's delish but very sweet. I consider it a treat and when my husband brings it back, it's still hot from the oven.

No, I didn't. I literally get sick to my stomach from eating sweets... unless I'm in the mood. And then, it's just a nibble here or there.

Have you ever tried shoo fly pie? My mom used to love it!

Mainly molasses. Not sure that I ever tried it. Too sweet!
