For tonight--------I have prepared grilled pork loins with applesauce, almond rice pilaf, spinach salad with orange vinergarette dressing with a bottle of BV Reisling . Other than the cost of the wine------the meal costs about what two Big Macs with fries and drink would cost, or the cost of one large combination pizza.

Have to say that sounds smashing! Definately the sort of thing I would enjoy

I'm having a Cheese Burger and Chips for my Dinner :-6
"Why not just tell people I'm an alien from Mars. Tell them I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight. They'll believe anything you say, because you're a reporter. But if I, Michael Jackson, were to say, 'I'm an alien from Mars and I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight', people would say, 'Oh, man, that Michael Jackson is nuts. He's cracked up. You can't believe a damn word that comes out of his mouth.' " Michael Jackson
We're having a picnic/cookout here at work for lunch today!! PARTY!! Everybody brings in something. I brought in deviled eggs. We usually have burgers, hot dogs, & sausages on the grill along with all the other stuff. So, I'm not sure how hungry I'll be for dinner.

Easy to make too! Just cut up 1 lb of bacon & fry it pretty well. Take it out of the frying pan & let it drain. Meanwhile, cut up a vidalia onion & sautee it in the bacon drippings that are left in the frying pan. When they're see-through, add the bacon back in. Also add 1 big can & 1 small can of diced tomatoes. I add minced garlic, as well. Sprinkle with (I use kosher) salt. Let it cook while you boil the spaghetti noodles. Then drain the noodles & add the sauce! It's really yummy!! I had my friend over for dinner. She's Italian & she LOVED it! Even went back for seconds!
