Another Target???
I think if we keep building, bigger and better, it's a way of saying "Screw you" to the terrorists. It could be a target, yes, but then, so could just about any other building if they put their minds to it. Build the biggest damn skyscraper they can, I say.

I completely agree with BR. Build our best and build into the skies. What's the ultimate alternative? Build underground?? That day may well arrive for some of the world's inhabitants but until then the sky is the limit. 9/11 was ONE attack.

"Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There is a tiny splinter group that believes you can do these things. Among them are a few Texas millionaires, or businessman from other areas. Their number is negligible and they are stupid." Death is more universal than life. For although everyone dies, not everyone truly lives.

The building in Dubai is not a likely target for terrorists in my view, nor is the building in Kuala Lumpor. Too many Muslims involved in the occupancy and building of both structures. Terrorists are not going to alienate Muslims if they can help it. U.S. buildings are more likely.
