Ah. I hadn't thought of that. I assume that's for some sort of "bespoke" adoption,
rather than just adopting A Child From The Pool Of Humanity.

I wondered whether an adoption costing 40K was for using a "surrogate mother",
or just adopting a "parentless" child (http://www.fostering.org.uk/information/default.html).
Maybe there's language usage differences confusion!

Its not a surrogate, its a parentless child (infant only) or a mother who is pregnant and doesnt want it. Im not in the uk so that wont help me. Its much cheaper for you people to adopt.

That was just info. for definitions! I'm still slightly surprised at having to pay
the mother's medical bills, though. What if there weren't any! Whatever, good
luck in your quest, whichever way it works out.

You lurve me. Way deep down. Like deeper than the deepest ocean. If you were the Earth and I had to dig for your lurve it would be like digging to China. And its small probably, like an ameoba or paramecium. Maybe even as small as a quark, but its there. I know it ! :-6

Nomad, you are a naughty, naughty boy. And listen people, we better be careful. There are at least 2 people here that do not enjoy sexual innuendos.
But I guess they wouldnt be in a thread about making babies, huh?

Well I take Xenical , you lose about two pounds per week. Not too sure if you can use if it you are insuline dependent because that is one of the things they test for before they will let you have Xenical is diabetes. Could be that it is just a matter of close control if you take it with that condition
Certainly pregnancy will make you fat. Don't do it, haven't you got a train set to play with ?

I know we have been having fun in the other thread, but this is a serious one for me. I have been struggling with infertility and its not funny. Nothing about it is. So please, dont choose this thread or this subject to joke with me about. Its insensitive.
Thanks, now if you have something valuable to add to this thread (seriously) I'd love to hear it.

Well DG I think you are very brave. I don't know about the USA but all the men are pacing up and down here in the UK with fingers crossed waiting for news of DGs baby. Its shaking the island to bits ! Meantime, the shops are making a fortune selling white gowns and those funny surgical hats. We are rooting for your partner too and hoping that his stamina does not give out on him. Take care
