Boo!!! Made you Jump!!

Post by shelleybelle73 »

Hello Guys & Girls,

I logged on FG for the first time in ages, and was pleasantly suprised to see messages from you fellow gardeners asking if I was okay. :-4

I haven't been online much, as I have been feeling a little out of sorts, not quite feeling like I "belong" or "fit in" anywhere... :-1

I think generally the stress of the last 2 years has now come to a head for me, I am trying hard to get my life back on track and deal with the emotional baggage that has stemmed from the heartache.

I'm obviously a little down which can only be expected, but I am trying hard to get back on my feet and sort myself out, starting with my self confidence and making new friends to help & support me...

I am so coming to terms with whats happened and trying to make sense of it all and I guess in time I will figure it out. ;)

I promise to come online and participate in the garden... and I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank Cherandbuster & spot for there kind words and supportive encouragement..

It really helps to know that you guys care so much. :-4

sometimes all we ever need in life is too feel loved and cared for and you guys have done that in copious amounts.

The girls are fine, still causing trouble as usual, I have heard nothing off my ex about continuing his ridiculous request for visiting rights to the girls, so fingers crossed he has got the message loud and clear...

I hope you and your families are all well and happy...

and I look forward to reading your posts and catching up with you fellow gardeners

love Michelle

Hi Michelle

I think thats the main thing we all need in life!

If we know we're loved and cared for then we have the strength to go on and do good things with our lives.

If we don't feel any love or caring we feel bad about ourselves and question why we're so unlovable and sink into depression.

Society says that cars, money, a nice house are important and yet to have people around you who love you is more important than anything else in the world.

It's lovely to see you back and the warmth and caring of the garden will warm you and help you through the rough times!

Take care. :-6

Hello Pinky.... Chris..... Snoozy... cher...betty boop... thank you for your well wishes guys, it means such a lot to me at the moment...

I have missed being in the garden and I love all my cyber gardeners... but I have been trying really hard to make some New "REAL" friends.... I seem to have so many online cybernet friends but no real, "Come round for a coffee & chat" friends... so I have been focusing on getting out a bit more and participating in the "REAL WORLD"..

.. and cher... yes I am still with Lee, we have been together 10 months now and he has been very understanding and supportive of the whole situation..

We had a lovely time in cornwall, so much to see and do, and although we never managed to visit Betty Boop and co, we had such a lovely refreshing break which is what we both needed... there was not nearly enough time to do everything in such a short amount of time... it was pretty exhausting trying to fit it all in (LOL)

I enjoyed Newquay Zoo and I enjoyed seeing the seals swimming with everyone, i can not believe that they just come up to you in the sea and nudge you... scary.. but heartwarming too... Isabel was very impressed...

I have since met lee's children (how nervous was I?) lol :-2

but fortunately, we all get on really well and it wasn't as awkward as I first thought it was going to be, its still easy days, and we have a lot time ahead of us to get to know each other...

its weird to think I may be seen as a step mum sometime in the future. I am only 32 after all !!! But at the moment I am happy just being there friend... but it was so nice when Lee's daughter asked me is she could have a cuddle, and when his son said that I had to come out with them as it would only be fun if I came with them, that really made me feel special and all warm and fuzzy inside... :-4

Thank you everyone for your love and support

Shelley

I've only had one experience of Cornwall, and sadly it wasn't a good one. Must go back though sometime.

SnoozeControl wrote: Isn't there some kind of animal sanctuary down there? I'm thinking owls, but I'm probably wrong. I googled that whole area when I first started chatting with you UK folks. I'd love to visit the area sometime.:DYou're thinking of the Perranporth Combined Owl Sanctuary and Skeet Shoot, which more than offsets its bird-rescue costs by flinging trained armoured owls across a preset course. Skeet clubs always used pigeons before the animal welfare campaigners stopped them. The owls are strong enough to wear body armour and to dodge the shotgun-fire, thereby adding to the excitement of the sport.

Oh... welcome back Shelley, it's really good to see you post again.

I don't make these things up. Well, not entirely.
