Free Man For Four Days

Post by Benjamin »

My wife just went out of town for a convention and will be gone until Saturday evening, so I’m a free man for a few days. I have Dominoes on speed dial and some beer chilling in the fridge. I have a few activities planned but I thought I’d see what the folks at ForumGarden could come up with. Any suggestions?

How about some quality one-on-one time with someone you may neglect cause you are a couple...............

Dinner out with a friend at a place that serves food that your spouse does not like.............

Rent some movies that your spouse does not care to see -- or see again..............

Things I like to do when my wife is out of town:

1. Videogames! A good 8 hour session!

2. Hyper-violent movies! (Pearl harbor, Resevoir Dogs, Scarface, etc)

3. Food that is bad for me! (Rare steaks, pizza, etc.)

4. Falling down drunk! (Can one man consume a 12 pack in just six hours? Let's find out!)

5. Multi-napping!

6. Guy shows on the Military channel!

7. Sleeping in the middle of the bed!

8. No vegetables with dinner!

9. Turning the amplifier up to 11!

10. Watching original Star Trek episodes on the laptop in the jacuzzi!

11..and most of all....moping around the house missing her!!:o

Very good suggestions here. On the day she returns, have some candles lit and some fresh flowers for her. And tell her how much you missed her! :-4

And have a wonderful meal waiting for her...that way she'll forgive everything, including crisps (chips) in the hot tub's drain pipe and cracker crumbs in the bed.

oooh, have a quick tidy up too. Dump the beer cans and hoover (vacuum), she'll adore you for it!! :D :-4

yeah, I do all that. And the dishes too. I also turn back the bed for her, she's usually tired when she travels.

HOW TO CLEAN THE HOUSE

1. Open a new file in your PC.

2. Name it "Housework."

3. Send it to the RECYCLE BIN

4. Empty the RECYCLE BIN

5. Your PC will ask you, "Are you sure you want to delete Housework permanently?"

6. Calmly answer, "Yes," and press the mouse button firmly......

7. Feel better?

I'm kind of enjoying having the house to myself, but I hate sleeping alone and having to cook my own breakfast.
