That makes a lot of difference to all my odds then - it reduces my exposure as well, I was out on a limb to Mike with her.

I'll re-do the odds in the morning and put them up again. Any new bets from now are at the new odds.

Commiserations Carolly and Chez, neither of you deserves the rough end of the stick.

Here are the revised odds for bets made this week leading into November 15th's contest.

Diana Vickers, Mentored by Cheryl, you stake 1,000 casino dollars to win 1,600 casino dollars

Alexandra Burke, Mentored by Cheryl, you stake 1,000 casino dollars to win 4,000 casino dollars

Then there's the odd remaining band and that pretty boy

JLS, Mentored by Louis, you stake 1,000 casino dollars to win 12,000 casino dollars

Eoghan Quigg, Mentored by Simon, you stake 1,000 casino dollars to win 8,000 casino dollars

and finally the outright losers, the no-hopers, the lame ducks

Rachel Hylton, Mentored by Dannii, you stake 1,000 casino dollars to win 14,000 casino dollars

Ruth Lorenzo, Mentored by Dannii, you stake 1,000 casino dollars to win 30,000 casino dollars

Danny Evans, Mentored by Dannii, you stake 1,000 casino dollars to win 120,000 casino dollars

Cheryl, you stake 1,000 casino dollars to win 1,200 casino dollars

Simon, you stake 1,000 casino dollars to win 9,000 casino dollars

Dannii, you stake 1,000 casino dollars to win 14,000 casino dollars

Louis, you stake 1,000 casino dollars to win 12,000 casino dollars

I'll pay out 5,000 casino dollars if it's either of Alexandra or Diana who get kicked off on November 15th, for every 1,000 casino dollars staked.

For the other five I'll pay out 2,500 casino dollars if you name the contestant who gets kicked off on November 15th, for every 1,000 casino dollars staked.

i would think once you have made a bet,, it stays at the odds when you bet on it,, then new bets will be at the most recent odds:-3

The old bets run at the original agreed odds until they win or lose. New bets are at the new rates.

OK, What is with the British voting public? Voting out Laura, have they lost their minds? She was brilliant; she shouldn’t have even been in the bottom two. I can’t believe it! I have been watching this show for years and I have never seen such a bad decision, what the hell is Louis Walsh thinking the gobshyte, he obviously know that JLS couldn’t beat her so he is better off getting rid of her, but in doing so he has potentially ended a career of a fantastic singer.

OK, so now that I have lost my money on Laura I need now to vote for Alexandra. After the last few shows she has certainly evolved as the strongest performer, but the public will probably vote her out as well because clearly they have not taste for real talent.

You already have 10,000 casino dollars riding on Alexandra and 5,000 casino dollars riding on Rachel, it's only the bet on Laura that's sunk so far. Would you like to increase your bet on Alexandra?

mikeinie;1040537 wrote: I’ll put 20K on Laura, what a fantastic singer.

Diana Vickers drives me nuts with all that hand to the face garbage movements. I think people will get bored with her soon. I am not betting on her at all.

I will put 10K on Alexandra: fantastic!

I will put 5k on Rachel, if she can hold it together she will do well, but she is a high risk.

Get rid of all of the guys, they are wimps and cry like babies.

Yes, if they're in the thread then they're in my book.

Your lines currently read

Kaz on Eoghan betting 1,000 to win 8,000

Kaz on Alexandra betting 2,000 to win 9,500

Kaz on Rachel betting 1,000 to win 25,000

Kaz on Ruth betting 1,000 to win 30,000

You're not betting on who will get knocked out this week? The options, if you want to go for that too, are that:I'll pay out 5,000 casino dollars if it's either of Alexandra or Diana who get kicked off on November 15th, for every 1,000 casino dollars staked.

For the other five I'll pay out 2,500 casino dollars if you name the contestant who gets kicked off on November 15th, for every 1,000 casino dollars staked.

Alright, you're twisting my arm but - only because it's you, mind - I'll let those out even further. I'm cutting my own throat here, there's no way I'll survive at this rate but if it brings a bit of pleasure then why not. It's why we're put here in the first place.

Daniel Evans has become the sixth act to be booted off ITV's X Factor.

The 38-year-old pool cleaner lost a sing-off against Rachel Hylton with a performance of the Simon and Garfunkel hit Bridge Over Troubled Water.

Judges Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell all voted to oust Evans, sparing Danii Minogue, the mentor of both acts, from choosing between them.

Not at all, Chez, it's a net gain for me this week.

Kaz wins 4,000 casino dollars on her 2,000 bet on Rachel's elimination, less her 1,000 on Rachel to win, and I pay her 3,000 casino dollars. Congratulations Kaza, it's in the post!

Mike is down 5,000 casino dollars on his bet on Rachel to win, which would have netted him 125,000 casino dollars if she'd got there. His remaining bet is on Alexandra, 20,000 casino dollars to win 90,000 casino dollars - good luck on that last one Mike, it'll recoup your two losses if she makes it.

That leaves me 2,000 casino dollars up on the week once the transfers are all made.

What on earth makes you think that, I just paid you didn't I!

I'll have cash-flow problems if Mike doesn't divvy up soon though, he's 24,900 casino dollars adrift on my ledger at the moment.

That lack of understanding of I'm A Celebrity is the only reason I'm messed up, it cost me over 50,000 casino dollars and I started this business with 3,000 in hand. I'm not bankrupt but the cashflow will get tricky. I might have to stop running credit lines.

Only if I asked him to and I have no intention of doing that.

If we reach a point where more FG businesses are started then I might ask TS for a float sufficient to start an FG bank paying Base Rate interest and charging Base Rate +2%, using the Bank of England published figure. That might put some of the back-room fly-boys out of countenance. I'm not going to tap him for finance on this purely private venture though. A bookmaker's a bookmaker. These things are only fun if it's run properly.

Would anyone like to buy the debt at 20% discount?

well.. i think you have been very prompt to pay out if we win,, and generous in not asking for our stakes up front:thinking: i dont see why a gentle reminder via pm would hurt,,, if he is anything like me he probably just forgot,, i aint seen him around lately either,, :-3

I think selling the debt to a non-moderator would be my best answer. The one thing I can't do, as a moderator, is chase down a debt generated as a games player. The two activities don't fit well together. How about if I discount it to you at 30%?

I sell you the debt for 17,430 casino dollars and provide you with a transfer message, copied to Mike, authorizing him to pay you the 24,900 casino dollars he owes. You make a profit of 7,470 casino dollars when he pays you. You might need to chase to get paid, which is the bit I don't think a moderator can do.

It's a sort of gamble, isn't it. That's why there's a tempting dangly potential profit of 7,470 casino dollars hanging there, to see if you're risk-averse or always up for it.
