Oh no sorry. It's a bad idea for the whole world to vote in our elections. It's true that SOME of our policies impact everyone globally....but most just impacts US citizens. We are most affected. If the world is voting in our elections they will vote for what is BEST FOR THEM but it is our country. All of our states have their own elections. People don't vote for legislators in other states where they don't live. This is even though that what some states do might affect some other states....or persons in other states. But mostly it affects the people only in a particular state. For instance laws regarding property rights in marriage are different in some states. So if you are living in one state and move to another state and get a divorce...it will be according to the state that you moved to. This is even though you were not there to vote during voting time....but then it does affect you. But we can't have everyone voting in everyone else's states because the laws mostly affect the persons in a particular state and only sometimes people from other states. So the majority that will be most affected are the ones to make the decision.

No, I think we should all vote in each others elections, that would help "share the pain" as opposed to "sharing the wealth" which you wouldn't want to do, perish the thought of having to give something to those with less, how awful. :rolleyes:

So true. I already vote on some issues that I don't feel I have read up on thoroughly enough....just because there is so much to read up on. Vote in world elections? OMG. And keep up with all the dirt on ALL leaders worldwide.

What happened to you? Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed or something? Isn't that little island busy enough for you? So you have to start minding our business. What we do does not affect you all that much for you to actually vote in our elections. Do you want to vote in state issues as well? I was just wondering if you think that what they do in Texas affects you all the way over there.

No not state elections, they are boring. Besides all the power is federal anyway. Just the interested in Federal elections.

You effect all of us enough to allow it I think, but in return you can vote in ours.

I dont want to vote in yours. And you cant vote in ours either. If you want to have a vote then become a citizen.

I was joking you eegit, of course I don't want to vote in your election, its none of my business and anyway we have enough clowns to deal with over here. I will have to indicate when I am not being serious in future (which by the way, is most of the time). :wah:

Did anyone see Obama on TV yesterday?? I hope he is trust worthy. He seems to have some good ideas. But anyone will say anything to get elected. This election is too important for smoke screens. hope both men are putting their cards on the table. Or they just being typical politicians(LIARS)

Major blowout last night with hubs over Obama. I'm for & he's against. He can't vote cuz he say's it doesn't count, well I told him to go stick it since he's not voting to just shut up about it.:wah: Says their liars too. Of course they are, but another 4 yrs of Bush policies is not so economical on my end.

Plus if you don't vote. you really have no right to BITCH;)

Exactly! I'm voting for who I think is the better candidate and yeah it's Obama, I like him, has great ideas...I don't trust Palin on the McCain ticket as I think she was a way too risky running mate. Go check out palinaspresident.com - hilarious but scary.
