Friendships

I haven't got a lifelong friend but I have recently realised that I have several friends at work that I confide in from time to time and vice versa that I will sorely miss when I retire.

My husband has friendships that have lasted from school days....nearly 50 years.

Have any of you guys got friends from way back ??

Annie & I became friends in business school when I was 18 and she was 23.

We have both lived and experienced very different lives, but 44 years later we are still friends and keep in touch -- during some periods - daily, during other times - months may pass. No matter what tho, our relationship is such that it is always like no time has passed since the last contact.............

My life has been greatly enriched for having her in it.

I can count my close friends on one hand and I don't even have to use all the digits!

I have one close friend thats all ( maybe I spend to much time here ) Really I have always moved around. My close friend and I have only known each other a few years. I have lots of people I associate with but not on a very deep level. No one I'v grown up with or even spent more than four years with.

i have friends i have known for a long time, but dont have much contact with as we have moved around too much, its much harder to keep to the same group when you move so much!

I have a hard time making new friends. They seem to come and go. The people I really confide in I've known since before puberty.
