Greetings from London

Post by Spikey_Shaun »

:wah:

Hello to everyone who reads this message.

I am 39 years old, from East London

I'm into all sorts of music that is considered listenable, other than House, Heavy Metal, or anything that makes the ol' brain go foggy.

:guitarist

I love playing the guitar, although i am waiting to purchase a brand new one... my old guitar started making love to the wall, and so it had to be thrown out. I cannot abide an unfaithful musical instrument!!! LOL

Hiya Abbey,

That's just the fun side of me. I enjoy the fake pics from the internet, as they provide many hours of great laughs for the people who actually view them.

Many thanks for the welcome to this group.

BUT WHICH EAST LONDON????

I have been mislead before, East London, London, England, East London, South Africa????

There are so many Lodnons scattered about the globe - just like Aberdeen's that it requires preceise navigation to get the right one.I can remeber the first time I was in Halifax, Nova Scotia andwalking about in the snow I went into th railway station to get out of the wind and there on the first train was wirtten the destinations "London" and "Scarborough".

I began to wonder what country I was in.

God Bless,

Hi Randall,

I'm actually from London England, and as british i could possibly be, i guess! LOL

There is a lot of history from where i live; Jack The Ripper of Whitechapel, The Kray Twins... The model figures of Grant and Phil from Eastenders.

The furthest i've been into Scotland so far, is Berwick.. A lovely place!

My wife went to Edinburgh about 6 weeks ago, and i'm absolutely mad about the Edinburgh Rock, as i can literally eat that by the bucketful, if i was allowed to. LOL

God Bless

Hi Minx,

It certainly wasn't me! LOL

I've just spent a great deal of the day just walking around a shopping mall here in London; seeing as i've done some unexplainable damage to my left foot yesterday morning (i noticed it when i woke up and got out of bed), then i think that i've done quite well really.

Oh well; i'm actually on a week's holiday from work, so i've got plenty of time to just relax, and maybe answer quite a few people who have answered to my posting.

What part of Canada do you come from?

Best Wishes

Hi Accountable,

I have a friend who lives in San Antonio, in a street called Dean Martin.

She has her own business that sells jewellery and stones etc, accompanied by a rather large stock of Bill Haley records.

I'm not sure even if you know who Bill Haley actually was; but he was born in Harlingen.

I sure would love to get myself a Stetson on day; but living in London, we don't have that luxury.

I guess that i will have to make a visit to the land of the cowboy one of these days.

Hi Nikki,

I'm sure that he is; but everyone needs a little something to help lighten their daily load.

Mine happens to be someone who's not a million miles from me at this moment, and also my daughter.

Did you know that, you can tell what clan a Scotsman is from, just by looking up his kilt? Yes, that's right... If you look up there and see a Quarter Pounder, then he's from the McDonald's Clan! LOL

Hi Wolverine,

You and me both mate!

We all go to work and do our bit for our daily bread; but someone who hasn't been in the country for five minutes gets our governments to help keep them.

As ol' Forrest Gump once said... "Life is like a box of chocolates", you never know what flavour you will land up with! LOL
