My sister wants me to throw her bachelorette party in Vegas, which I am planning right now. Any suggestions on what to do besides the obvious (gamble)? None of us have ever been there. We are only going Fri-Sun. Ideas would be great! How much do tickets to shows cost? Give me info like that, please??????

Just go sit at one of the bars in the middle of the casinos and drink have girlie fun with all the people around you hehehehe
Ok try Blackjack it is quite easy to try, the others I know not much about.
As well look for the less known entertainment venues, I think MGM or NYNY has a "rising stars" feature and they bring in new and upcoming comedy acts, that is loads of fun. Hang out at the pool of whatever hotel you stay at. All the casinos have free shows of some sort treasure island has the pirates, Belagio has the water show, and if you wanna spend big bucks catch either O, Mystere or Zoomalia these are all cirque du solei shows, now I have to warn you Zoomalia is the adult only one I believe this one they costumes are mere body paint.
Shop at the Alladin as it is set underground and set up like and outdoor market complete with changing sky very cool. Go do Fremont street to.

Blackjack and slots are both good on a budget. You drink for free but remember to tip if you want the waitresses to keep coming back! Also, you can get free show tickets if you sit through a time share lecture, but there are plenty of free shows you can find just by wandering around the different casinos. Each "city" themed casino usually has some sort of attraction, like the moving fountains, or the fountain/light show, or even the pirate show. If you stay at an older hotel it's cheaper, but don't stay at Circus Circus because it's filthy.

Also-food is cheaper if you go to the buffets. The best thing to do is find out when their dinner starts and show up forty minutes before...you'll pay lunch prices and get to be there when the dinner food is set out.

ooooh. sneaky, sneaky. I like that! Has anyone ever stayed at the Stratosphere Hotel? What is it like?
I used to be a waitress/bartender.....are the expecting the usual 20% "waitress/bartender as patron tip"?
