Does anyone fancy talking in rhyme?

It's fun. And won't take much of your time.

If not, I think that's a terrible pity...

There's nothing quite like a ridiculous ditty.

At the mo though i fancy a beer,

So its off to the pub,

If i can push for a sub,

Before i come over all queer!

Through posts at the Garden, it's friends I am making.

And in thoughtful discussions, there's no room for faking.

At this time of night it's a bit of a strain

But I'm testing my brain to play this game

It sure is a challenge to make this rhyme

But I guess I've made it happen this time.

Why don't the guys join in with our fun

I'm sure that there's an idiom that fits

the type of game you play

with blokes like me who try to get

creative but fail to sway

the low opinions you gals hold

for my rhyming wit, or lack.

But try I will till I get old

and my scene shall fade to black.

I've just come back from a family 'do'

It was such fun with all the crew

we've had chinese washed down with Bucks Fizz

The whole of my night has been 'just the biz'

Give it some thought, you'll be the wizer

When you remember that rubbish become fertilizer.

It is the stuff from which beauty blooms.

It makes the flowers that decorate your rooms.

So practice, practice makes rhymes legit

Even when they start out like sh*t. :wah:
