Does anyone fancy talking in rhyme?

It's fun. And won't take much of your time.

If not, I think that's a terrible pity...

There's nothing quite like a ridiculous ditty.

I think you all are just silly,

I'm not into this sort of thing, really.

You have your fun

creating your puns,

word games, to me, are just frilly.

I'll try out this rhyming, this musical talking

I'm eager to play games, if fun we are stalking.

Through posts at the Garden, it's friends I am making.

And in thoughtful discussions, there's no room for faking.

So BR is no more,

She's been shown the door,

And in place we have rhyming girl,

She should be great fun,

when she tells us a pun,

A diamond instead of a pearl. :)

At this time of night it's a bit of a strain

But I'm testing my brain to play this game

It sure is a challenge to make this rhyme

But I guess I've made it happen this time.

Why don't the guys join in with our fun

I reckon our talents have sent them on the run

Come on guys...give it a whirl...

We've likely scared them away.

We're clever. They're not. That's okay.

But just give 'em time

They'll soon talk in rhyme

They're just slower than us, on the day...

Hey there, Hi there, I'm up too

If it's only us, we are too few

It's work for me also, I do it at home

I make some money, but don't have to roam

I've drunk my coffee, I'm ready to go

But this Garden beckons, my coffeecup's low

My excuses are many, but the work must get done

I'll do it, I'll do it, and then have some fun.

Excuses are fine and I have quite a few

To stop me from doing the things I must do.

Good afternoon my rhyming friend

And how are you today?

My spirit's low. I won't pretend

That's everything's okay.

It's not. I'm feeling very low

I don't know what to do.

I'm lost. I don't know where to go.

Suggestions? Name a few?

I'm sure that there's an idiom that fits

the type of game you play

with blokes like me who try to get

creative but fail to sway

the low opinions you gals hold

for my rhyming wit, or lack.

But try I will till I get old

and my scene shall fade to black.

My rhyming skills are tired and worn,

I'll have to go to bed.

Tomorrow is a brand new dawn

And I'll try then instead.

But meantime sleep you all so well

Or, those in the U-K

Cos I think that in America

You still have half a day.

My room is lit by Christmas lights

That I bought yesterday.

They're blue...I love them...what a sight!

Too good to put away.

Will people think me off my head?

Or that I can't remember

That Christmas time is well ahead...

The middle of December?

While some of us slumber, some meet our day

with usual caution lights blinking our way.

Sometimes it feels like we've had a head start

on our lives and, for that, we all can feel smart.

You'll be doing tomorrow what I've done today.

so, "Good-night or Good-morning"...whatever...okay?;)

Oh Christmas time may be the best

With lights and tinsel and holiday guests

But don't forget the Halloween ghosts

So buy lots of candy to be a good host.

Then November brings that turkey day

With folded hands, in thanks we pray

Then the year ends, Happy New Years to all

But what am I saying, it's just now FALL!
