Oh that's where I finished staying a month ago - such a lovely place. Large but very lovely. Takes about 15 minutes to just walk across the whole place. Oh and I strongly recommend the Rainforest cafe if u are there, such great food!!

Wow a wedding reception huh. Well Vegas sure is a great place that I can vouch for. I know that u are used to heat, but for a Brit like myself that place is at times unbearable. I did go in August mind u which is apparently the hottest month of the year though, but I somehow managed to survive!!
I'm assuming u have been there before Susie??

Yeah I remember looking at the weather forecast every day, and it was just the same - hot and no rain at all. It's the only holiday I have ever had where it has not rained once.
But Vegas is a great place, and I would certainly highly recommend it to anyone (over 21 of course.) That reminds me, must get those pics that I took of our Vegas trip on here, had forgetten all about them!!

Yeah they are really tight on the laws around there. I'm 21 and was asked so many times, even when walking through the casino's, for ID!!
But you are right the place is great fun. The rides, especially the ones at the Stratosphere and the Sahara are brilliant. The shows were really good and the food is delicious. Only bad side to the place is having to leave!

Yeah I know, but at least u live nearby and don't have to have a horrid 10 hour flight there and back like I did!!
Oh and did u try some of those rides on the Stratosphere, such as that one that goes off the side and spins around. That one is completely nuts!!
I believe that it's called Insanity.

Ah yeah that ride. I remember standing on the tower and watching these poor fools faces as they were dropped off the edge. Ah I was a wimp and gave up on the ride hahaha.
Still I was brave enough to go on Speed the Ride at the Sahara. OMG that ride is mental. I swear I was gonna be sick after I got of it, it was just so darn fast, like everything was just a big blur!!

Stuck 1.00 in the machine and won 100.00! I was so excited, i screamed and jumped up and down! lol I am such a dork! That was my first time ever gambling. I kept telling my husband that I was waiting for the right machine.. I guess i picked it.
Wow now that was good fortune!!
Yeah I really enjoyed the Fremont Experience, it sure is something out of the ordinary. As far as the casinos go I only played 1 game of poker at the Luxor and came 7th out of 30, which isn't bad for my first time, so I was happy!!
I liked the Excalibur and the Mirage volcano, but was disappointed by Treasure Island and that awful, awful show that they have there.
I sure would love to go again, but this time for a little longer if possible. Oh and before I forget a) those monorails were a blessing in disguise and b) those annoying guys trying to flog u porn ads did get irritating after a while. I even saw 1 guy force a man to take his little leaflet, which he then turned around and chased the guy back down the street. Oh that made me laugh!! :wah:

Hahaha good on you. I was tempted to do the same, but I somehow managed to hold my nerve with those guys.
Yeah I had read about the change in show, but I thought what the heck it's free after all. Well after watching 5 minutes I soon realised why it was free. Can u imagine the uproar if u were actually made to pay to watch that absolute rubbish? (oh and I could use a lot better words to describe it than rubbish, but I shall maintain a little dignity! :wah: )
