i'm singularly unimpressed. 802.11b stuff is selling at fire sale prices these days on ebay. with that cheapo PC sitting in the closet, you can turn the PC into your router, and hang any 802.11b device off of that, to accomplish the same thing.

i just bought a 'super' 802.11G router and PCMCIA card for $90 after rebates. 54mpbs bidirectional for 108mbps aggregate. the non-'super' straight 54mpbs router and card would have cost $70.



but i digress.
