Just retured from Orange Beach AL.....wow...the hurricane damage left from Ivan is unreal. Here, a year later and still so much to be done. So many vacant places boarded up. And yet the places that have put everything back together have done such a wonderful job--some of them you would never know anything had happened! Unfortunately the foliage is stripped away...... the area around our house on the beach used to be so private and I never realized it was all because of the beautiful palms, grasses and other tropical greenery. Unfortunately this will take much time...

Yes but Mama Earth will recover. I think that ecosystems rely on these events to fully get back to its roots. It's like forests need some fire to continue... ok I lost my train of thought. sorry.

She has no point ! She just likes to watch her fingers move across her keyboard and she gets all mesmerized while her mind is floating off thinking about unicorns and leprachauns and before you know it shes talking about fires when your talking about palm trees . God !
