I'm a little nut of brown
Sleeping on the cold, cold ground.
Everybody steps on me, that is why I'm cracked you see.
Call myself on the phone
Just to hear my golden tone
Make a date with myself
At the latest half past eight
Take myself to the picture show
Set myself in the very first row
Put my arms around my waist
And when I get fresh I slap my face

(Hey, I don't know what made me think of it but I think I
learned it in BROWNIES fer cryin' out loud, and it's better than that
damn Slinky tune that's been runnin' around in my head!!)
