Silo and Town Art

Post by magentaflame »

My next holiday is going to be the Silo Art Trail. Mostly in Victoria but (if it's allowed down the track) into NSW as well.

Thought you guys might be interested in it . I'm also wondering if you guys do this in your countries.

What we have in Cornwall is Engine Houses left over from the mining, and nobody ever goes near one of those with a spray can. There are limits even to desecration.

Mostly because the yobs (casual graffiti sprayers as opposed to graffiti artists who tend to be invited to decorate an area) can’t be arsed to climb down the cliffs to get to them :-)

Some pretty interesting work, there.
Not much of that in the States, but a few Silo and Barn paintings can be found.
