Freddie Starr RIP

Post by spot »

I am moderately certain I never saw Freddie Starr perform, neither on stage nor on television. I'm moderately certain I never heard him sing on the radio. I suspect I have him in the same mental compartment in which I keep Bernard Manning and Jim Davidson.

I'm sorry he was hounded out of the country. The press creates and the press destroys, long live tabloids so long as I never have to pick one up.
