The right wing activist was streaming a Facebook live video outside Leeds Crown Court, where a grooming trial is reportedly underway, on Friday morning.
And now a petition online to free him.

He obviously hasn't read the christian bible and noticed the connection. Wonder why he doesn't complain about the christian paedophile rings run by the church or the high level cover ups.

He doesn't need to "claim" he was arrested he really was arrested - maybe he doesn't understand and appreciate the difference between english law and american law, watching too many US police series possibly. He was done for contempt of court for live streaming about a trial in progress I dare say if his actions resulted in a mistrial he would claim it was a cover up. The man's a pillock.

Also, he wasn't sentenced to 13 months for this incident. It was a breach of the Suspended Sentence conditions for a previous offence of the same nature, so he was simply made to serve the sentence that had been suspended. Personally, however, I believe that as this was a different offence he should be sentenced for this one as well - to run consecutively after the one that had been suspended is served.
He claims that 97% of Paedophiles are Muslim, when that is not the case. It's actually more than 90% are White males. Just where is his indignation & Court coverages at the cases involving people like Jimmy Saville, Rolf Harris, Adam Ant, all the Catholic Priests (mainly white)? Come to that, what mention of Leigh McMillan - an EDL activist jailed for 17 year for sexual abuse of children? Could it be that they are not Muslims? Surely not. Come to that, just how many of those investigated by Operation Yewtree were anything but White Males?
He is quoted as saying, on many occasions, "If you don't like our laws, get out of our country". Well, his criminal record speaks for itself as far as that is concerned.

He was given the 3 months from the suspended, handed down at Canterbury, and he was awarded a year imprisonment also, as he was charged with contempt of court, once arrested for breach of the peace, and brought inside the court.
He pleaded guilty when he was tried that same afternoon. His lawyer didn't need to be there, he stated immediately that he was pleading guilty.

I think the BBC is not doing a good job of presenting the reality of brexit but I do have the humility to realise that my own position might affect my viewpoint. It has always been true that the far left call it tory biased and the far right call it socialist and unpatriotic. Brexiters say it should be proclaiming the Good News. hohoho
