"You can check-out any time you like,

But you can never leave! "

Hey look at that, so many "former" members popping in again.

Well I for one am happy to see you all, welcome back all of you. Lets breath some fun into this place again.

Yes just come in say hi, how are you, long time no see, and just come and visit with old friends.

To much seriousness. Politics and religion are safe to argue about, but hey this place used to be based on some great friend gatherings too, and some fun threads where you could just escape the dreary world out there and just hang out and chatter up a mindless storm. (oh don't get me wrong I am not starting a chat it up thread here I am just promoting participation lol)

I hope some of you renewed past members stick around, and sparkle up the place.

Remember the pub, (ok we don't have to all be dancing on the bar) but .... it was a place to just escape.

just hoping to spread a little joy to the old tired FG today :)

LOL Spot, no kidding eh. I nearly spewed my coffee.

I have to guess that Far right now would be in his glory and over the top satisfied with the current US state of affairs. Such a redneck.

I'm pleased you keep dropping by, you're a large part of the site's history.

I'm intrigued that you're attracted to Ireland and Scotland, it seems unexpected. They're cold places, they're wet, but they're both beautiful countries. I was on the Isle of Skye four years ago, it's unforgettable, I hope you get there.

Isle of Skye is where I want to get married 😍 my heart is happy in the rain. My fiance is Scott Irish and is very interested in his heritage and I've grown to love it through documentaries and books and him talking about the history of Ireland and Scotland. And you're right through images alone I've been blown away. Cannot wait to start making my way there!

You have no need to 'elope' at 27. The place in the UK that is famous for eloping couples is Gretna Green in Scotland

I sent Farrider (Rob Farrider) an email that he was being chatted about here. Let's see if he still accesses his old gmail account.

well done Saint :)

Bruv no no do not feel that way.

FG has gone in "cycles" for lack of a better word. You are an important part of the whole experience. Posters in this thread are members who were heavily involved in the every early days of FG. It was a very different time and FG took off in a number of directions.

The "Farrider" era is well documented in the Pub scene. It was a forum of a different sort back then. A lot of silliness and less seriousness... I do believe we actually had 1 deeply buried by now post by Spot where he may have laughed lol

Every member has a special place in FG each for their own reasons and relations. Old, Middle aged, and new members all help form FG.

Heres something funny...... i remember when persons began drama in a thread they were always told they were off topic and told to make a new thread for their drama. Quite a clever tactic to build up thread counts. Lol.
