Why would you go see M Jackson now?

Post by minks »

Interesting Q on my radio station this morning, would you go see Michael Jackson? If yes why? Because he is a great entertainer? Because he is a freak?

Me personally, never liked him, and still don't. So NO.

It would be a bit like going to see Marc Bolan. Admittedly, I did go to see Marc Bolan, but it was a long time ago and before he died.

Marc Bolan? Lead singer for T Rex, got wrapped round a tree in his twenties. People go and stare at his grave and weep, still. I was comparing that with going to a MJ concert after the latest farrago.

No I wouldn`t go to see a Michael Jackson concert (even though I like SOME of his music) - just as I suspect most mothers WON`T be letting their littl`uns go and stay the night in his bed with him from now on!

And even more curious your mentioning Marc Bolan, spot, since he also was a bit of an androgynous t**t...............

M J said yesterday after the verdict...I won't let little boys in my bed ever again.

Gawd what switch turned off that he thought that was ok in the get go.

Thanks spot for clarification

He had a good tune that his group played. I was quite struck on the person I took to the concert, that's my excuse.

It looks, Minks, as though nobody will go to a MJ concert, at least from here. Personally, there hasn't been a single hour of my life when I'd have used a free ticket to travel as much as a mile from my doorstep to see Mr Jackson perform in any venue, from an arena to my local pub, but that's because I'm both extreme and fastidious in my musical tastes.

Still, the lad's only in his mid-40s. I propose that we collectively write to encourage Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton to invite Mr Jackson to run for VP on her ticket in '08, providing both a tasteful Minority candidate and a lot of apoplexy among her opposition. If George Murphy could do it, MJ certainly can.

Not to worry, it has been suggested that if MJ is to perform again it will be in Europe where he still has adoring fans!!

MJ is guilty of being weird, guilty of looking freaky, guilty of being naive, guilty of being childish, but the evidence shown to the jurrors (that the public was not privy to) convinced them he was NOT guilty of harming children, he's a child in a mans body himself!

did you see where Sadam Hussein wants his trial moved to california?? Makes sense to me, I mean... OJ got off, Robert Blake got off, Jacko did(although the jury found he didn't;) )

so why not?
