We had , just out of the blue , a 38 degree fay the other day. But apart from being alert for grass fires that wasnt the emergency.
That was followed by a pretty heavy thunderstorm that caused tornado type weather and caused lots of damage, but even that wasnt the emergency.
Pollen, in all its glory was the emergency. Something to do with the winds and particually micro particals that reacted witj the thunderstorm caused untold chaos. Victoria ran out of ambulances and hospitals were put on full disaster alert.. Five people died, all barr one were young healthy adults. People who had never suffered asthma suddenly had asthma attacks.
An absolutely weird situation.

It was. Eight people died, and all but one were young adults.......thats sad.
There was a severe warning again for my district two days ago but i watched the storm go around me.
Just another of natures little surprises i guess
