Gene Wilder dead, 100th birthday of Roald Dahl. Sort of fitting really, considering Charlie and the Chocolate factory launched his movie career.

Blazing Saddles was my favourite.

My favorite part for him was Avram, in the Frisco Kid.

He had quite a presence in his films, I always enjoyed watching him perform. Early in his career he had a sketch - not much more than that - relating to sheep-love - after which he could do no wrong as far as I was concerned.

Ha ha ha ha .......thats a very disturbing scene spot. Disturbing but hilarious.

I think i just saw a clip from 'actors studio' ( i think its called) very inciteful.

I hope they do a bit of a tribute to him this week on telly.....be good to see these films again.

According to his family who say there was music on random playing as he passed away. Ella Fitzgerald ....somewhere over the rainbow.

My favorite Wilder scene was doing "The Kangaroo Hop" with Madalyn Kahn in "Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother". An absolute show stopper!

I think it's available for viewing on YouTube.

I liked everything he did but this is probably my favorite. Brilliant!
