Hello from Kathy Ellen...

Post by Kathy Ellen »

Hello to my Forum Garden friends,

It seems that there are a few FG members about. For those of you who don't remember me, my name is Kathy Ellen, and I've been a member of FG for donkey years.

I miss this beloved site and wish it would return to the golden years.

I'd love to chat with any members, new and old, that may be around.

So cheers for now!

Kathy Ellen xx

Well, hello and welcome back. it's been a while.

Good to see that you are still around.

Things here haven't changed all that much. Just a bit quiet, of late.

We all miss the golden years, some of it was your gold, you don't have to miss it.

Oh welcome back, hope you are well.

Hello Lars,

It's so wonderful to chat with you again!! How is life treating you?...well, I hope.

All I good with me. I finally retired and am happy as can be. I'm finally finding time to read books, hang out with my friends and family and travel. I'm a lucky 'gurl' once again.

Watcha up to?

Back when FG started there was no Facebook or Twitter, the main social media competition came from IRC and the Messengers. People networks tend to like sites with lots of photos these days. I blame cellphone cameras.

What's left here are the fogies who prefer words.

People do drop by now and then, which adds a major flurry of excitement to our otherwise drab existence.

When flower power came along I stood for Human Rights, marched around for peace and freedom, had some nooky every night - we took it serious.

As has already been said, your return is enough to brighten the quietest day in the Garden :-6

Glad to hear the life is treating you well - I'm currently relaxing in sunny Crete (hurray) but will be returning to England tomorrow (boo).

Hello there dear Kathy Ellen, think of you often, glad to hear you are happy! Things are okay here, plugging along. Rather too

much 'gray' here these days, what our local forecasters like to call "June Gloom" with all our overcast skies.

BUT for the first time in 3 years, I justified planting a few veggies again. Got some maters and some beans and one

yellow 'straight neck' squash, never had one of those!

Take care, glad you checked in!
