From the book of Esther, another perspective on the Donald.

I've been arguing that the comparison of The Donald and his loony toon followers to the Hitlerian Fascists was all wrong. On so many levels it's off.

Hitler and his cronies had a long-term plan, and set about it methodically. the Stormtrumpers are just winging it.

Here is a perspective worth considering.

Trump Is Not Hitler and He’s Not Haman —*He’s Ahasuerus - Opinion – Forward.com

The danger in Trump is not Trump, himself, but what he has exposed in the bowels of American society. The true nature of our collective inner child, too long spoiled, and at the same time left to its own devices.

An excellent article - the ultimate salesman reflecting back the needs of a (mindless) section of the population to feed his own need for importance / adulation.

I like the idea - now how do you stop it happening?

Hopefully it's self limiting but I wouldn't count on it.

As soon as he stops talking, he will fade into a well-deserved oblivion. The trouble is that he knows this.

I stated in another thread Trump is & has always been spoiled.

Trump doesn't understand poor.

Barely living & surviving from pay check to pay check - most have one foot in the gutter barely keeping their head above water.

How could Trump understand that!

But, he still has sooooo many followers.

There's a generation out there that are believers. It's a scary group - gaining & growing.

I'm scared - I don't want Hillary pushed into the slot due to this fool.

Up till now about the only thing I remember concerning trump saying something like "I am floored that he has so much support."

For the most part, Mr. Michaelson is pretty good concerning trump.

Pretty cute, Trump Is Not Hitler and He’s Not Haman — He’s Ahasuerus.

All that about Haman, Ahasuerus so he can conclude with Republicans are racists.
What happened to Kamala Harris' campaign?
She had the black vote all locked up.

I didn't really get that he was saying that the Trumpers were racists. They are more than racists. They seem to hate everyone who disagrees with them, regardless of color, national origin, or whatever. And he is saying that The Donald is just playing to the crowd.

lol. I read that as "Mecha Godzilla," which would also work.

and I had to laugh out loud at "Stormtrumpers." LarsMac, you really should copyright that expression before it goes viral...

The show was set in a pet store, Megillah was one of the pets for sale.

I thought that they should have, instead of a pet store, set the show in a prison and called him Felonious Monkey.

Oh, I can't take any credit for that.

It came from Bloom County Comic Strip by Berkley Breathed.
