30 miles short of his destination?

900 miles alone in the Antarctic, this guy was 30 miles short of his destination when he called in for help.

It must have taken a lot for him to make that call.

Some might say he left it a little late.

It was a brave thing to have attempted, I'm saddened that he didn't get there. He survived several astonishing journeys across the ice over the last decade.
