A phenomenal talent.....happened to be the same age as me.....a victim of the big C.....same as me. His was obviously fatal, but on a totally personal and selfish level, mixed with my sadness is a feeling of relief at how lucky I am.

What a talent was David Bowie, musician, vocalist, song writer, actor. RIP Mr. Bowie, you will be very much missed.

Bowie was simply wonderful and Bruv still IS wonderful, thank goodness. Felt very sad to hear this news of Bowie.

I suppose his lifestyle makes it hardly surprising, but he didn't use it to milk public sympathy. On the contrary, he concealed it & continued to make the most out of what time he had left.

His lifestyle was probably decades old, meaning he's been on "good Behavior" for years. Look at Willie Nelson still going strong.
