Must admit miss the loony right element we used to have.

Cologne sexual assaults: Leaked police report reveals 'chaos beyond description' as women attacked | Europe | News | The Independent

I've got relatives living in austria. I think if this kind of thing keeps up would be asylum seekers are going to find out just how aggressive europeans can be - if dropping bombs on them hasn'lt giuven them food for thought already.

I agree, madness on a grand scale - if there's one thing that will stir up a hornet's nest then this is it.

So we have thousands of single men who have not ever had much alcohol, suddenly finding all the booze that they can consume at their fingertips, Nothing to do, and no supervision.

What could possibly go wrong?

It's not the booze, german beer is not your pisspoor american stuff if you're not used to it two or three pints will have you legless. It's hundreds of young men from a culture where they are not allowed to mix with the opposite sex and have been brainwashed to consider females as inferior and that women out on their own are "loose women" - fair game even if they are in groups. They just can't grasp the concept of a woman being equal and having the right to say no.

Our own culture is not far removed from those times you still get people who see nothing wrong in taking advantage of a woman if they can get away with it. Goes back to adam and eve, eve tempted adam so she is to blame not adam misread the situation and raped her it's an attitude so much part of our culture we don't even question it much. We still talk about "loose women" in derogatory terms when all it means is that they are not under the control of a male.

Oh, I've had plenty of German Beer, and I can tell you from experience, you can get pretty stupid long before your legs give out. Yes, the cultural aspect is part of it, too. But I suspect these men were pretty far into their cups. No, it does not justify their behavior, and yes, they should be caught and held accountable.

They need to learn how to behave in their new home before they find their butts back where they came from

The Cologne New Years Eve incidents will continue to happen in other European countries that have extended hospitality to migrants and asylum seekers. It seems to be a regular occurrence in Sweden. As somebody said, respect for women is unheard of with these lawless young migrants, and how does one change a people who have been brainwashed for ever ? I don't know what the answer is, except to close borders, but that is too late for the already ensconced hundreds of thousands of migrants. I believe some countries are, however, closing their borders and I suppose it is better late than never.

Darn skippy. Budweiser Lime, my normal favorite is only 3.2% alcohol.

german beers run 9 to 11% alcohol. So one glass of german beer equals roughly three glasses of American beer. Or in other words, you can drink a twelve pack in just four glasses!

I think you nailed it there. I'll add this, the absolutely worst thing you can do if you are a stranger is to molest the local women. It's guaranteed to make every one of the local men rise up to defend their honor. You are totally screwed.

Around where I come from, it was, until recently, cause for a lynching. (Or as we called it back then, "A good, old-fashioned necktie party.")

I know they are described as drunken but these are all good muslim boys and it seems to have been coordinated. It's cultural to a large extent IMO with drink only a minor factor tolerance and liberal attitudes in a secular society are perceived as a sign of decadence and weakness by the religious. Because the women were without males and dressed like whores (must be a bit of a shock if you've only seen women dressed in a tent)

and they see them as being of "easy" virtue in their society their actions would not be condemned it probably hasn't occurred to them that they might actually antagonise the society they are now in or expect a violent reaction which methinks they might get if it continues.

Your own religious right see women as inferior and second class citizens unable to m make lifestyle choices for themselves muslim attituidfes aren't really that out of step with fundamentalist christians.

As a matter of p[rinciple I only drink the czech budweiser not only is it 5% it tastes a damn sight better as well, not as sweet. Budweiser sold in the Uk is actually brewed in edinburgh - sort of a tennants lager for the pretentious.
