Looks like it should be a great one.

That and "The Martian" are tops on my list. Problem is we have to 30 miles to view a flick these days, and the local one was shut down last Winter, as part of a major shopping center rebuild, and won't be re-opening until around Christmas.

Growing up that spy stuff to me was really cool.

Overall, the movie got good reviews, to say the least.

Not a shock being a Steven Spielberg production with Tom Hanks staring.

I may travel down the road to watch it though I was not impressed by the trailer.

Yeah, I reckon you have a drive for a movie, too.

34-mile round trip.

That doesn't matter as we really don't care that much to see a movie in a theatre. We been renting movies since forever. Back in LA movie going is just too darn expensive anyway. We can wait.

The wife did not come with me to see

Gravity

I just wanted to see a 3D movie. Never seen one before.

I may go to see "Abridg of Spies".

Looks interesting, but not that much.

I wanted to see Gravity on the big screen, but we were away whilst it was showing. Looks like I'll have to wait 'till it's out on DVD. The Martian looks interesting too, though I'm not sure about the 80's soundtrack, or so I've heard.

I have always enjoyed the Big Screen. I just like going to the movies. It was part of growing up, and I hold on to it, like an old memento from the past.

The Wife does not share my enthusiasm, so We wait for a lot of films to make it to Netflix or some such. But some films just MUST be seen on the Big Screen, IMHO. I think that the Martian will prove to be one of those. We are off to find out this afternoon.

I saw the Lord Of The Rings trilogy with my folks at the cinema. It definitely adds another dimension to the film, especially with the added special effects from the bags of sweets...
