New BBC page

BBC launched their new website format this week.

Now the look much like all the other major news websites.

It seems the trend is to make things more graphically simple and open. Easier to display on various types of displays. I can't say that I like it. But then I am not fond of change.

What do you all think about the new format?

I prefer my 'local' news page, seems less busy, but I'm not so keen on the new general news pages. Seems to be always the way, you just get used to something and then they change it!

They changed the iplayer format a while ago and I really dislike that, it's not as user friendly now in my opinion.

I prefer the busier, old style. A cleaner, brighter style works with some sites but I'm not sure if it works with the image that the BBC has. Auntie's wearing new clothes :p
