And it's neat but kind of scary, too:

As you say, scary. The towing car needs to be both rigid and stable and I'm not convinced that all small cars qualify - and heaven help you if your car doesn't.

That's a brilliant design. Beautiful in its simplicity.

I'm not sure if there is such a thing as a Horizontal Centre of Gravity, but that seems to have mastered it.

As for maneuverability - well, it speaks for itself doesn't it. One of the biggest drawbacks of caravans & trailers on cars has always been the difficulties face while reversing. That clip makes it look so easy. And as for the 360 degree turning, it makes me wonder why no-one thought of that before - or more to the point, why that hasn't been the standard design since.

A couple of friends of mine from the choir are keen caravaners. I think I'll forward that clip on to them.

I remember when they came out with that. It seemed such a cool idea, but it never really caught on.

I'd like to see the inside of that camper.

The one thing that sticks in my mind, though, is what about the connecting cabling for the lights etc.

The connectors are there, but with a warning to disengage the cable before parking maneuvers were attempted, and to remember to engage them before driving on the highway.
