That may be okay if you work in an office. But I don't know any construction workers working to 70.
Oh and just to top it all off, they are cutting the old age pension, cutting the military orphans allowance and giving high earning women money to breed. And there's much much more to come.
this country has officially gone to hell in a bucket!!!!!

Our government is making a rod for it's own back. Can;t afford our health system anymore so what do they do ? go out and buy 24 jet planes. Could someone tell me the last time Aust. was invaded? .......oh ..no hang on that's why they are stopping the refugee boats isn't it. 'Sovereign borders' mallarky. Christ even those who voted for them are spitting blood over what they are doing. All of the sudden our prime minister wants to paint our nation as the poorest on earth.

Employers are admitting that they aren't going to spend money hiring and training a 65 year old just so they can retire in five years time. BTW our youth unemployment is at an all time high.
Can you imagine 60 to 70 year old policeman and firefighters?
Toyota, GM and Ford are all leaving the country within two years. That's a lot of people out of work 9especially when you consider the componant part of the industry.........more jobs lost. And our prime minister has the audacity to say that he has "liberated" these workers from their jobs. And that they will be happy to transfer their skills into the supermarkets. check out chicks? eh?

I don't think it is hate, more like disdain & disregard of our equality to them. We're not as human, we are despensable non-essentials who exist to serve them. We're redundant to them. It's up to us whether to agree with their assessment by continuing to be their slaves, or not.

The Auditor general's office just made 85 recommendations to the the government today just before the Budget. Oh dear God!!!! Here's some of them.
income test on carer allowance...
reduce gov agencies by more than 70...
merge immigration and customs ...
Federation reforms ..
means test the age pension with family home included
slowing down roll out of NDIS............(that's the new implemented 'National disability Insurance Scheme'.....
15 dollar co-payments for all medicare services for general patients....we were told six a week ago
privatisation of public owned services ... Australia Post, the Australian Mint, and the Taxation office
15,000 public service jobs.
co-payments of all PBS medicines including free ones
Scrapping Family Tax Benefit B
replace childcare benefits with a means tested benefit
Oh the Joy. tony rabbit has already done a backflip on a couple of these things . Finally woke up that most Australians aren't rich!!!!

Pensioners, health, family payments face cuts under Abbott government's Commission of Audit report
Pensioners would also be hit hard, with the benchmark payments gradually reduced over time to 28 per cent of average weekly earnings, eligibility for the pension tightened and part of the family home considered in an assets test as the pension age rises to 70 by 2050.

This is going to piss off even those who voted for them .
Abolishing the annual minimum wage cases – though not the minimum wage itself – and setting a new benchmark of 44 per cent of average weekly earnings
Requiring unemployed people between 22 and 30 to move to areas of higher employment after one year or surrender the dole
Increasing the Medicare levy surchage to 3-3.5 per cent for high income earners without private health cover
Introducing road tolls to reduce congestion and increase funds gathered from road users - a move that would hit transport companies hard
Selling off federal assets including the Snowy-Hydro, the Australian Submarine Corporation, Defence Housing, Australian Rail Track Corporation, Australia Post, Medibank, the Royal Mint and the National Broadband Network over time
Abolishing 35 government agencies, merging six and consolidating 57 others including the Climate Change Authority and Clean Energy Finance Corporation – both of which the government has already promised to shut – and the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation. The departments of Immigration and the Customs and Border Protection would be merged into one agency – Border Control Australia
Abolishing Family Tax Benefit B – currently received by 60 per cent of families – and tightening the eligibility for Family Tax Benefit A
Cutting industry assistance, including to car makers that are on their way out of Australia. Even the Prime Minister Tony Abbott's $16 million for chocolate maker Cadbury announced during the last election would be scrapped
Cutting the government’s proposed paid parental leave scheme from a maximum payout of $50,000 to $28,730, depending on average weekly earnings. More money would then be allocated to childcare assistance

Now if that's what a government said would happen during an election do you think they would have got in?...Exactly . It's all the auditors fault???? I don't see any cuts to politicians wages or pensions. Apparently they will be holding back on travel allowances. OH NO!!! not business class!!!!

Ooohhhh the proverbial is going to hit the fan.
Totally agree with this though.
So the Commission of Audit recommends that the minimum wage be frozen for 10 years and cut by a few hundred dollars as well.
At the same time visits to the Doctor will cost for the first time in 30 years.
The Government must already know that a large section of the population is living in dire poverty, with no hope for the future.
This makes people like Tony Shepherd from the Commission of Audit see an opportunity, the opportunity to exploit the less fortunate for even less money.
The government has created a climate of fear that is unprecedented in this country ,they seem to enjoy making vulnerable citizens frightened for their futures.
The smiling and horrible pair of corporate headkickers Hockey and Corrmann are a disgrace to this country and to humanity itself.
The incoherent, babbling fool called Tony Abbott who was somehow elected to the highest office in this once great country ,is and continues to be not just an embarrassment to us as a Nation but to the human race as a whole.
They will reduce us all to homeless beggars if we do not intervene and control them somehow.
Are there any people within the L.N.P with a shred of humanity left in their souls, and will they stand against this?
Or will we suddenly and brutally have an American style system forced upon us?
The Governor General Portrays himself as a decent man ,will he intervene on behalf of the people he represents?
Will Clive Palmer block Abbott's legislation in the Senate?
Will labor become a party for decent working Australians again?
We just don't know.
Australia United.
Come on Queenie get your little rat bag to kick him out of office!!!!!!
