BBC News - Americans: Ukraine is in ... Greenland?

I would like to hold onto the hope that a lot of people were just messing with the pollster, but then when I commented about this article at work, only two of them could lay claim to knowing where Ukraine actually is. (of course they are engineers, so what would they know about Geography. [sigh]

Sadly, I would tend to think that the poll is somewhat accurate.

The less people know about where Ukraine is located on a map, the more they want the U.S. to intervene militarily.

If they would have posed the question with a Russian accent it might have helped. They're always trying to trick us mericans in them poles. Especially about geometry.

I would like to know more about those who did the survey and what their motives were.

Aw well, that is not all that really important to me.

Far as news goes, the search for Flight 370 is a lot more interesting.

Now with all that said.

I could nail the Ukraine/Brighton Beach on the map any day/night of the week.

Hate to say it, even though I followed the search of Flight 370 I would have been stumped to point out Malaysia on a map.

Just to share,

To me what would be really interesting is to have people fill out a blank map.
What happened to Kamala Harris' campaign?
She had the black vote all locked up.

I like this game! I got all 50 states in 4 tries! I'm going to play something else! Thanks Lars. And TD, your crack about Brighton Beach did not escape my attention.
