What's happening to me?

My husband thinks I've been body snatched and replaced with a Stepford wife.

With 10 days to go, I have all gifts bought and wrapped and posted were needed. Best bit Is not one gift was ordered on line and I have braved the shops to do so and better not one gift paid for by plastic.

All cards have been posted and delivered.

My Turkish pals walk In freezer Is full of my Christmas meat, except pork) and frozen cakes and deserts.

My storage room Is full of drink and festive food and I have all my shopping In leaving me to just buy fresh Veg and dairy next Monday.

I have made a Christmas cake, mince pies and mulled wine etc etc

My own freezer Is full of party food for my neighbours Monday night.

I have even bought cat littler In case It snows and anti-freeze preempting the weather.

I've deep cleaned the house ready for my guests.

My tree and decs are up although the tree may just have to come down this year. Two thing that don't sit In the same sentence.... 6 ft Christmas tree and young Kitten. I'm up and down like a Ho's pants prising her from the top branch.

I'm now sitting here thinking ' what have I forgotten ? What else do I need to do?

And Its damn weird knowing there's nothing else to do.

This Is just not me and It's not like I have a lot of spare time on my hands. Usually I'm running around Sainsbury just before closing on Christmas Eve.

Are you all prepared?

Wow.. that was me last year!

This year i haven't even posted my cards yet (some of them have to go abroad so.. ****), I keep forgetting!

No mince pies in the making, no xmas cake etc.

No xmas shopping done (food) and no xmas presents

Took me 7 hours to put the tree and one garland up last week. (too tired)

I'm the going to be the mad person buying stuff at the last moment this year! :wah:

Thanks...

We are spending the day with the homeless Christmas Eve and then on to Midnight Mass with Bath's groovy vicar.

Then Peter and I will shut the door, put our feet up, eat, watch TV, and enjoy :driving::driving::driving:

Oh and of course that will be Channel 4 horse racing.
