Light Years Away All That.

Post by jones jones »

The size of the universe is unknown. Is the universe infinite with no end? I guess that's easy to accept simply because, as Carl Sagan once said "The Cosmos is all that is or was or ever will be."

I mean that isn't like a very profound observation because if it wasn't then there would have to be more than one universe. Perhaps there could be a universe beyond ours. So its said that the universe is constantly expanding, but if it has no end then why does it need to expand in the first place? All very complicated to me.

But I would so love to go through a wormhole because then I could travel maybe a gazillion light years rather quickly and find out if there is perhaps like a wall at the end of the universe ... but then I'd of course want to know what was behind the wall ... sigh.
