Okay my own opinion on climate change/climate warming..........weather events.

Okay

Once a upon there was a cute little dinosaur, who lived in a beautiful rainforest. He was the cutest and cuddliest dinosaur of them all. But when that big arsed meteor hit the earth one day, cute and cuddly dinosaur knew that this days were numbered. Not because he was a dinosaur but because he knew that one day he would be more than 25kg in weight.

And we all know what those over 25kg's in weight need, don't we children? Food, and lots of it. And it won't matter if you're a vegetarian will it?......nooooo, because you're all gunna die too. Because it's not what you eat but how much of it there is to go around.

Now, why would a big meanie meteorite want to starve little dinosaur? Well it came to be that he was orbiting around the sun and moon and earth and having a jolly good time when ...OOPS! he tripped and fell onto the earth.

Well he was so big that all the dust he kicked up covered the big huge earth so the sun couldn't see through to little dinosaur and all the vegetation anymore. It became cold .....very very cold. And the food kept running out here, there and everywhere, because the sun couldn't make the grass grow anymore.

Cute little dinosaur was sad. And just as his big arsed mama told him ...."sweety you're a big arsed dinosaur too and you gunna die, or learn to swim really really quickly"

And little dinosaur asked his mama "Will the sun shine again one day, mama?"

And his mama said.."yes son, one day............one day.

And it did and all the little dinosaurs and animals under 25kg's had a jolly old time evolving and playing and turning into humans etc etc .

After a while the effects of the meteorite began to subside, making the earth warmer again. But the humans and animals weren't happy, they cut down all the trees and spewed tons upon tons of 'stuff' in the air again just like the meteorite did many many years before. The humans didn't know if it was too hot or too cold anymore. But they couldn't deny that the earth was returning to the days of the little cute cuddly dinosaur once more. And they argued and argued until they were all exhausted from heat stroke and sun burn.

But something more miraculas was about to occur children !!!..........grass growing in the deserts, seas where there were none before. All the ice on the peaks draining away into the sea and new and improved species appearing on the landscape.

And in amongst all of these changes there was a little cute cuddly polar bear who lived on the ice in the north pole. And one day he asked his mama why was it so hot?

And his mama replied......."Well son, once there was a big meteorite that hit the earth and now it's effects are subsiding and the earth is getting warmer again........"sorry kiddo but you gunna die, or shed your coat really really quickly, maybe even migrate a little bit south"
