My old dog loved fireworks.I used to take him on 'Bastille Night' to the towns display .He ignored the bangs but loved the bright moving lights particularly the rockets, which he followed with wonderous eyes. I held him up, like a child,so he could see more.
Anyone else with a fearless pet?

Fireworks.........
Only one, my first German shepherd, Tamsen. If she was in the house
and heard fireworks, she'd run fiercely barking in the direction of the sounds,
and I could almost hear her saying "You stay away from my momma/papa!"
A few years we'd even take lawn chairs out to the driveway and watch them,
and she'd come with us. First few she'd bark there, too until she realized "Oh
right, it's the Fourth of July" and would just watch. Lots of people doing double
takes walking by, nobody could believe a dog was actually out there with the
fireworks. A VERY strong, confident, protective girl. Pretty rare, I think. Most I
hear about are cringing under beds and in bathtubs or diving out windows.
Tell me more about your guy!

Fireworks.........
My 15 year old boy dog with 15 years experience spent Firework night manically barking at fireworks all night long.
New 4 month old kitten... Couldn't give a s.hit and slept all through It.

Fireworks.........
Hi Valerie Go-go was a gingery hound and such a gent.
One year a French woman turned on me as I stood holding him at the firework display. 'It is cruel to expose a dog to this', she said. She would not believe that he was loving it and would rather be there than anywhere else.
I'm sure Go-go laughed after she stomped off....:yh_rotfl
