19 Firemen die fighting a fire in Northern Arizona

Lightning sparks a fire in AZ and the special unit "HOTSPOT CREW"

are on the ground digging & clearing brush. The wind picked up & turned.

All 19 firemen were found this morning covered in their safety fire tents.

A fire tent is @ the size of a sleeping bag - which covers the body & one is to lay face down.

This fire 3 thousand 700 acres - has wiped out many homes & structures and 3/4 of a small town.

This is a disaster and no where in the US has this many firemen died except 9/11.

My heart goes out to all and the fire is growing..

I heard about this yesterday. What a great loss. People fighting to help others and dying for their efforts. Hero's don't come any bigger.

It's quite sad - The noon news reports the firemen have been removed.

19 white Morg. Vans - (convoy) and thousands of people are lining the freeway with flags as the vans proceed to the Medical Examiners office.

Many Streets are blocked with many many fire & police presents.

Honor Guards and thousands are waiting for the vans to arrive in @ 45 minutes.

This is such sad news. Their families must be completely stricken by the turn of events.

Firemen never used to get the accolades they fully deserved until 9/11. They should be among the highest paid of all emergency staff in all cities across the globe.

A Memorial is scheduled for tomorrow for all 19 firefighters.

Vice Pres. Joe Biden will be attending.

They're expecting and preparing for over 25 thousand people to attend the services.

Services start 11:00 A.M.. I will give them a moment of silence & pray for the families.
