Turns out it wasn't gangs, supremacist groups or Mexican drug lords. Instead it was a white middle aged guy seeking revenge. go figure.

McLelland and Hasse had both participated in the prosecution of Eric Williams last year on charges that he stole three computer monitors from an office building. During closing arguments, the prosecutors presented testimony indicating that Williams had made death threats against a former girlfriend and a local attorney. A jury found Williams guilty; he received two years' probation, and lost his law license and position as justice of the peace - a judge who handles mostly administrative duties.

Those jokers hardly fit the profile of the typical gun owners, angry or not.
What I find confusing how they got away with a slap on the wrist for what to me appears grand theft and burglary. Not to mention making death threats. Something screwy about that whole story.

What happened to Kamala Harris' campaign?
She had the black vote all locked up.

There's a typical gun owner? What's that, a gun owner that never becomes incensed and never transgresses the law? And anyway, where did I state anything about typical anything? I said an other angry gun owner.
The distance you'll go in order to rationalize.

Darn, now I feel so foolish :-1
Thank you for pointing out my err.
You did say Another angry gun owner.
To be quite frank, to me that looks like you were implying that gun owners, when angry go for the gun. So in my defense, I would say these people are not just "angry gun owners", but folks with a criminal history and violent tendencies, gun owners or not.

We all become angry at times, some who own guns will use them while venting their anger and some may not. So take the guns away from anyone with the potential to become angry because we can't tell who will snap and who won't. That's your problem.
Your insinuation that any person with a criminal record is the criteria for who will snap is ludicrous. Parking violators, jaywalkers, marijuana smokers? Just an absolutely silly and ridiculous assertion.
How do you come up with this crap?

You make it seem like a 50/50 proposition that some sort of anger will prompt a gun owner to break out the gat. But then that is your experience, not mine.

Give me a break. Do you really want to go down that road?

Uh, NO.
Anybody interested can go back to my post. I never made any such claim.

I believe I been pretty polite and straight forward.

You consistently highlight people's criminal records as passing insinuation that that is indeed the criteria of people who use guns as a solution. It's a stupid insinuation.

uh, just pointing out facts from the story.
I believe I can safely say that those two are not exactly your average John Q. Citizen.
