Turns out it wasn't gangs, supremacist groups or Mexican drug lords. Instead it was a white middle aged guy seeking revenge. go figure.

Those jokers hardly fit the profile of the typical gun owners, angry or not.

What I find confusing how they got away with a slap on the wrist for what to me appears grand theft and burglary. Not to mention making death threats. Something screwy about that whole story.

There's a typical gun owner? What's that, a gun owner that never becomes incensed and never transgresses the law? And anyway, where did I state anything about typical anything? I said an other angry gun owner.

To be quite frank, to me that looks like you were implying that gun owners, when angry go for the gun. So in my defense, I would say these people are not just "angry gun owners", but folks with a criminal history and violent tendencies, gun owners or not.

We all become angry at times, some who own guns will use them while venting their anger and some may not. So take the guns away from anyone with the potential to become angry because we can't tell who will snap and who won't. That's your problem.

Your insinuation that any person with a criminal record is the criteria for who will snap is ludicrous. Parking violators, jaywalkers, marijuana smokers? Just an absolutely silly and ridiculous assertion.

How do you come up with this crap?

You make it seem like a 50/50 proposition that some sort of anger will prompt a gun owner to break out the gat. But then that is your experience, not mine.
