I watched two documentaries last night about Mick Phillpott

The two things that have showed In this case... violence and wanting to frame the Mother of his other children.
There were also Interviews with hospital staff and the chief mortician gave evidence to say he was laughing and joking as he Identified 5 of the children.... Another female hospital staff stated he was making Inappropriate sexual comments and jokes about sex to her.
As they sat In a room while the oldest boy who died two days after the fire was fighting for his life and with 5 kids already dead, they were seen having a food fight and laughing and joking....
But I think the worst thing for me was his account In court that he fought to get to the children In the fire when It was actually two neighbours who were Injured trying to get to the children.... they gave evidence that Phillpott stood In the back garden doing absolutely nothing...and worse.... to have sex 3 nights after 6 of their children lay dead... the police recorded that from their hotel room....
I agree with some of the headlines today.... this is an example of the worst of the benefit culture Britain..... scum, absolute scum

To link his behaviour and the welfare system in any way is ridiculous, almost as ridiculous as tieing pedophilia to the spare room tax.

Yes that's true but remember Karen Matthews and her vile boyfriend who staged her daughters kidnap to get money? Remember Jo Frost and the up roar over her getting a new mansion. All had 10 or more kids by various Mothers and Fathers and all have never worked a day In their life....
I am not suggesting for a minute any one on benefit Is capable of murder but the case was presented In court that when the mother of 5 of his children took them Into custody, he became enraged that he'd not get a bigger house and would lose much of his benefit which was given In court as £60.000 a year.
What I am saying Is that I agree with those who have said that there Is a culture of something for nothing In this country and the Phillpotts, Mathews and Frosts with 10 kids or more who have never worked a day are not one off's...
Mick Phillpott at the expense of the tax payer recieved £60,000 a year In benefits... he built an extension that he used as a snooker room, he smoked dope, was In the pub most nights, had a caravan, cars etc etc... I know people who hold down 3 jobs that can't afford that lot...

If something, somehow did not create that dependency on benefit that allowed him to have 17 kids by various Mothers and collect the vast amount of benefit that he did, he may not have resorted to such drastic actions to keep that benefit coming In.
Same with Karen Matthews who resorted to drastic measures. So, Yes, I believe It was a contribing factor In those childrens deaths.

Those children meant nothing to him, they were born and used to get him more benefit and he showed that by his beahviour following their deaths.... no man In his right mind would just stand In the garden watching neighbours try to get to the children.... any Father would have been tearing at the brick work to get to them..... and the welfare state has caused that attitude In him. The welfare state has created people like the Phillpotts who have children for money from the tax payer with no other reason.... No father In his right mind would even stage a fire at the base of the stairs... no-one would even risk It...He did because he wanted to set up his ex so he could get the children back for a bigger house and more benefit..If the welfare state hadn't created a scenario where someone could have 17 children without working a day In their lives, they would not have helped toward a scenario where Phillpott so desperate to keep his benefits and lifestyle that he ended up killing his kids by accident.

She plotted the fire with him to frame his ex... she went along with It.... after the set went wrong and the fire got out of hand killing all 6 of her children, she stood by him... any other woman would be screaming to the police that he'd killed her children.

So they all insist the welfare system 'created' the animal that is Mick Philpot ?
So presumably without it, he would have been an upright children loving hard working dependable citizen ?
The system may have made it easier for his lifestyle choices, but if he hadn't been a welfare cheat he might have been a Banker, who can we blame there, the system or the individuals?

They are not talking about people who have worked, through no fault of their own, have lost jobs and are on benefit with 2 or 4 children Let'but the likes of Phillpott, Frost and Mathhews.
Look at It this way.. Anne Widdy said that Phillpott was In reciept of £100,000 a year In benefits for 17 children having never worked.
Let's say we had a system where providing you hadn't lost your job through no fault of your own, but target those like Phillpott who have never worked and capped all benefit after the 6 th child, would he have gone on to have 17 ? I very much doubt It.
If there was at cap at 6 children eg, there would be absolutely no gain for them to have more children and In fact If benefit was capped, they would know that they were going to be shorter of money and struggle not each baby adding to the lifestyle. That would deter the likes of Phillpott churning out unwanted, unloved babies for nothing more than financial gain,
The whole point about Phillpott being a product of the welfare state is that with each baby, he got more money and that's why he continued to have them. So the welfare state continuing to pay out with each and every birth has In deed created the greed that led him to try to stage a fire.
