That's really surprising that the engine didn't stall from the water, but maybe it didn't get high enough. He was certainly heavy enough with all those logs.

This Truck Doesn't Need a Bridge!
Well I wouldn't try it at home, but I'd try it with that truck
and weighted like that!
One time years ago, I went on what was called a Week Long with
my horse group at this place in the Sierras. Poured rain for DAYS
and the adults decided to call it and drive out. The 3-4 little creeks
we'd crossed (no bridges) on the way in were now very fast, high
rivers. Decision made to unload horses and just walk them across.
Several horses balked and wouldn't go, until my Dad went and got
MY mare. She went out and right in, and of course once you can get
one to go the rest will follow. Val's chest was puffed up with pride,
I can tell you!
and weighted like that!
