They seem to have some solutions. India and the rest of the world could follow suit.

All green roads have one problem in the way....too many people.

China has the "ways", but not the best when it comes to liberty.

I think he is saying China's one child law is showing to be an effective means of population control, which some other highly populated countries should follow, even as he acknowledges the loss of liberty that plan entails.

Most solutions to large scale reduction in damage to the environment require a reduction in the population, or at least a reduction in the rate of rise in the population.
