While the USA seems to be doing a fantastic job with flooding from hurricane Sandy, Britain struggles to cope with rain water.
Raw sewerage and filthy canal water are added to the misery...
I think our system needs a major over-haul... perhaps we can look to America for advice.

Really? Your faith is touching but even the Americans could not cope with a month's rain in a day.
They are in the same position as us - clearing up after the damage is done and we appear to be doing quite well at that thank you.
