Surely, being British he would consider himself more of a Richard.

I think he should come back as someone else and see if we can pick him out of the crowd.:sneaky:
I expressly forbid the use of any of my posts anywhere outside of FG (with the exception of the incredibly witty 'get a room already' )posted recently.

The new bloke's gonna take a while to get used to. But I'm certain " normal service will resume shortly " as they used to say on the telly when things weren't running as smoothly as they should.

To be perfectly honest I would prefer a Spot in the building rather than not. The new bloke is a little formal for my liking and I can't quite pin a face on him like I could Spot. Maybe in the cold light of day, a step back and a sharp intake of fresh air we should all take stock of where we are and where we want to be.

Things get out of hand, out of context, stretched and pulled apart, paranoia sets in and we all end up getting hysterical and accusatory. No-one is prepared to give any ground.

Maybe we're all wrong. Maybe we're all right. Maybe we should all just suck it in

I was going to suggest that me and him trade user names, then i figured nobody would probably notice. Maybe the accent a little?

Good idea, and we should hold a contest to see who can figure it out first.

The winner gets a week's worth of Jaffa Cakes.

Not left in the usual sense but in the Dr Who sense. He still administrates as FG but has chosen to relinquish his incarnation we knew as Spot. Its a shame and a decision we hope he reverses. I like the old bloke better than the new bloke

Could be the start of an autobiography.

I, miss Spot, take pen in hand to write my story a tale of derring-do about the life of a humble word-smith and my time trawling through the sewers of on line forums and all the quirky characters I met.

chapter one

Little did I know it but the day I met oscar my life changed forever.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was an age when lovesick utterings were met with derision and insult. 'My treasure' - I always called her my treasure for she reminded me of something that's just been dug up.

I don't know what I missed, but if the brain that emits spot is still online then he'll show himself far sooner than I'm ready. No one can keep that much hatred contained.

Of course, he could be using another forum as a pressure-release valve, in which case I might be tempted to celebrate.
