That BBC2 thing ran into a curious skit show thing, during which several members of the public mentioned Peter Andre. I've no idea who he is. Wikipedia, while having an article, merely confused me further - I now know he's Australian. What is he for?

He's actually an accomplished writer and musician. His best selling recording was ' Mysterious Girl' In 2004.

He's not my cup of tea but I do get Irate when all he's credited with Is marrying Katie Price. Unlike his ex wife, he does have some talent and originality.

I've looked up this Katie Price of whom you speak. "Although not an academic student, she excelled at sport" and she makes money endorsing things. Including, I assume, accomplished writers and musicians in exchange for marrying them.

Was that Youtube track deliberately chosen to make Mr Andre sound a laughing stock? I ask because you claimed he can write and sing.

Yes, I'd heard of him before the jungle. The name doesn't conjure up great musician to me, just that he met Katie in the jungle and they got married in some bizarre pink fiasco then they divorced. I'm vaguely aware of him having his own tv show following his life since then too but that's it.

I don't see the point of the thread. All Spot had to do was enter ' Peter Andre' Into his search engine and all manner of Information on him would have come up.

Peter Andre may not be everyone's cup of tea, he's not mine.

It appears to me, It's just an excuse posting this thread to be as nasty and rancid as possible In the hope some ardent Andre fan would post and Spot could get off on slapping them down... that's the predictable format Isn't It ?

How Spot can even begin to form an opinion based on one song I linked and someone who he claims he has never heard of Is just par for the course.

I see no reason at all for posting this thread and the vile comments about him when all of his career Is well documented on the web.

If we all need to be for something many people are in serious trouble for being complete non entities. Besides when you look at people who make such judgements about the worth the question that always come to mind is what makes you so special?

I don't watch any of these reality programmes but I notice those most vocal in their criticism tend to do so with a level of knowledge that suggest that they do. I quite like Jordan - anyone else creating a £40 million business would be lauded to the hilt.

Katie Price at the Oxford Union: 'No one has an excuse not to try and earn a living' | Mail Online

I actually watched that debate, amazing what you see idly surfing the channels - chavs rule OK.

Peter Andre gives off sort of a George Michael vibe. Wham! wasn't well known for its deeply philosophical lyrics either.

Yes, I did laugh at Andre falling off the stage but then I also laughed when Steven Tyler fell off his stage.

I'm with gmc.... It gives that 'what makes you so special?' feel.

Circles which have the radio tuned either to Radio 3 or, in times of national crisis or elections, Radio 4. Circles which regard all other use of audio bandwidth to be both wasteful and pointless.

Did you get to review George Michaels repertoire on THOSE radio stations to allow you to make a comparison with Peter's ?

His music may not be to my taste but what I do like about him Is the way he Is with his children. He seems to let them express themselves without ramming his opinions down their throats. I enjoy watching his show when he's with his children.

Just clarifying Facts about Peter Andre who you described as a waste of space. I agree with gmc.... " pretentious pseudo intellectuals overly impressed with their own erudition and perspicacity".

You chose to slate a man who you knew absolutely nothing about In a childish attempt to appear highbrow.

But as usual.... Spot resorts to Insults and hones In on the Oscar posts when In fact everyone who has posted here has ridiculed you. It's rather a tedious, predictable pattern with the Issue's that you seem to have In life.
