i have a close friend who realized a few years ago her husband was GAY. we always went on vacations together, we all attended high school & he never seemed unhappy. i am the god parent to their only child, a son. one day Betty said, he never wants to be home, golf is his life? i'm beautiful, look at me, i make a good income, but he is distant? we knew the problem, how could we break her heart? she finally caught him at a campground with his golf buddy. we are no longer friends as i told her he was abnormal. she has now lost me & her so-called man. :-5

I entered this BY ACCIDENT 2X's. yes they were into pets. a gorgeous portugese man, gone to men. he was just that way. my husband could not understand why he never wanted to go fishing!

honey, Joe was the most stud around.

i love all people, Joe was different, and i still love him.. even though he made HER feel good, i was shocked, he turned to a man. we grew up together.

It is a shock to people that are around them but I wonder how long the signs were there. It may be a shock to the person when they realize they are gay too. I'm sure there are as many scenarios as there are people in the world. What I wonder is, how do you tell your spouse something like that? There could be no "easy" way.

I wonder if it's not more a shock excepting they are gay rather than realising.

Agnes, you shouldn't have said he was abnormal, I cringe at the look on your friends face when you said it, I know you were most likely trying to comfort but, think, she has been with him for how many years, she is hurting but still has feelings for him.

My other half knows I find certain types of women attractive, are they signs I wonder... Nah, I still prefer what a man can offer to what a woman can't, plastic just doesn't do enough for me, however much he thinks he's missing out :yh_rotfl

Being gay may not actually be `abnormal` but nevertheless it is very unusual (less than 1% of population; if everybody acted gay the human race would die out) so I can understand why Agnes said that.
